About the Education Department
The Education Department is responsible for preschools, open preschools, pedagogical care, after-school centers, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted upper secondary schools, municipal adult education, Komvux as special education for adults, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), youth centers, open preschools, and music/art schools.
Preschool and after-school center activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, geographically spread throughout the municipality.
Altorpskolan, the municipality's only 7-9 school, accepts students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Kunskapskällan, the municipality's upper secondary school, is also located in the Herrljunga urban area.

Responsibilities: Teaching teacher in adapted primary school, grades 7-9, at Altorpskolan.
Qualifications
We are looking for a certified teacher qualified to teach in adapted primary schools.
As a teacher, you are engaged and a clear leader in the classroom. You are structured, flexible, and view collaboration as a natural prerequisite for the development of the operation. You have experience in organizing accessible learning environments.
We want you to be someone who, in all situations, takes the student's perspective and upholds the values of the curriculum. You are expected to be well-acquainted with current regulatory documents and open to cooperation. You view digital tools as natural aids and an integral part of teaching. A positive attitude is important to us, and we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
We prefer candidates with a special education teacher's degree with qualification in adapted primary schools, but we also welcome other applicants with broad subject qualifications and extensive teaching experience.

In Herrljunga Municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time work. If full-time assignments are lacking, it may mean that positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
